We booked 4 rooms at The Peech, for a one night stay, for a group of friends returning to the US, and our stay was perfect. The rooms are large and very well appointed with everything you need. Nespresso coffee machine and tea, bottled water etc are all supplied in the room. Wifi is included. (I wish more US hotels...

My wife and I stayed here for one night at the beginning of our rece ntly completed 3 week Southern Africa vacation. Although we arrived early in the morning after a very long flight from London Heathrow, the staff graciously accommodated us by allowing an early check in to our room and even brought us some much needed coffee after...

We only stayed one night just before returning home after a three week vacation in southern Africa. This place was great! It had a nice feel to it, great quiet rooms, on the premises taxi service, in house restuarant, great helpful staff, such as Oscar and a very good location. If we make it back to Johannesburg we would stay...

It's a boutique hotel. They have nice toiletries. The rooms are a little small because it's a boutique hotel. The restaurant was good and it's a 10-15 minute walk to Melrose place where they have lots of upmarket boutiques and restaurants. The Neighbourhood seems pretty safe and upmarket.

This was our first visit here, and we chose it mainly for its proximity to the Wanderers Stadium (10 minutes walk). It's also convenient for the Gautrain which takes one to Park Station in 5 minutes, or in the other direction to Centurion and Pretoria. Our garden suite was comfortable and spacious with a nice balcony overlooking the enclosed garden....

Rooms are large, modern, airy and very comfortable. Breakfast was good, a small bar and evening meals were excellent. The steaks are too die for !! No need to leave hotel as...

This is a lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds in a quiet residential area of Johannesburg. Our room was large and airy with a little balcony overlooking to pool and gardens. The staff are really attentive and helpful and suggested several restaurants for dinner at the nearby buzzing Melrose Mall. It is also convenient for the O R Tambo airport...

We spent 3 days at the Peech hotel and loved every minute of it. The food was excellent. The service was first rate and room 2 was delightful, with a lovely view over the garden. I would unhesitatingly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here at the start of our honeymoon and it was a lovely place to start an indulgent adventure. This hotel is opposite a large park in a quiet part of town but easily accessible to good bars and restaurants. Upon arriving you are made to feel at home very quickly and the staff remained attentive and friendly throughout...

From THE PEECH HOTEL STAFF - We can organise a driver to pick you up. The cost is only very slightly more than taking a cab at the airport and is much more reliable. Please email us (or use the contact page on our website). Kind regards, James Peech

There is no elevator to the upper rooms. They are one floor up so I would think 15 steps. We can easily accommodate you on the ground floor if you prefer. The beds are all king size extra length beds. Lastly, the hotel is indeed in a safe area - called Melrose. It is upmarket residential.

Morning. We can organise an airport transfer for you for ZAR620. We can also organise tours of the city and to the apartheid Museum either before you stay or when you arrive at the hotel. Uber is very good in Johannisberg and although there has been a bit of resistance from local taxi firms is still an excellent service.

Hi Georgia, We do indeed accept children but you will need to book direct as booking and expedia do not have the facility to process child bookings. We charge r750 for an extra bed (for children 3-12) and they are free under three.
