What a wonderful weekend in the big smoke. The grounds of Misty Hills are magnificent. I had to keep reminding myself that I was in fact in the city and not the bush. The rooms are beautiful and we were fortunate to eat at the Carnivore restaurant

Rooms are actually not. They are huts, bungalows - you name it. Very stylish, perfectly kept and full of modern amenities. Grounds are beautiful - feels like you live in a forest, not jungle, savanna forest or something like it. The area is large, so from the reception you are taken to your hut by a golf cart. Breakfast is...

Stayed here at the end of our trip to meet friends after a week long safari. Beautiful setting, even more beautiful room (we had a suite) and a very relaxing atmosphere. We ate at the carnivore restaurant. Bit of advice, don't fill up too early on as the food keeps coming and gets more exotic after a while. It's delicious...

We booked to eat at The Carnivore and thought we would spend the night there instead of driving after the meal. The rooms are all in a lovely setting of trees and ponds and local plants. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly. The price was good too. The kids were able to go swimming...

I decided at the last minute to take a weekend away in Johannesburg just before Christmas and I am so glad i chose misty hills. Samantha in reservations was so professional I had my confirmed booking in a couple of minutes. She recommended I try Carnivore which was an amazing and affordable experience. I visited a year ago and the positive changes is visible from security to the room. Beautiful venue with friendly staff. Thabang welcomed us with a huge smile, when we arrived late on Friday night. The rooms were perfect, no flaws. We had a peaceful night sleep and wonderful breakfast. Thank you!

I would just wish to thank the House Keeping Staff at Misty Hills Country Hotel for their Honesty. The forested gardens and meandering paths connect the rustic African styled chalets dotted about the large estate. This is the best part of the hotel: service was slow, no room service was available in my chalet; there was a prolonged power outage and few of the large group enjoyed the meal at Carnivore. Service to the conference venue was begrudging...
