After staying in several places in Pretoria the Village has by far been the best! The self catering cottage is very comfortable and homely. The security is exceptional and definitely makes one feel safe at all times. It is extremely quiet and peaceful which provides an ideal environment to relax. It is conveniently located within close proximity to a small...

Good day, Thank you for your response. We would just like to clear a few things up from our side: - You (our valued guest) did inform us of the electrical issues you experienced. The very next morning our electrician was in you room fixing the issue. Unfortunately we are running an accommodation business and maintenance is on-going, unfortunately you...

We live in the UK and we were flying to start in Pretoria for the first time. We stayed there on recommendation from different people and they were right. It's comfortable, clean and the hosts so friendly, caring especially with our son, and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better place and location convenient. Will definitely be back.

My husband and I arrived in Pretoria at night and had failed to book accommodation in advance and so were desperate for a bed being in a foreign land and all. We eventually found one at The Village in Hatfield, In hindsight I think we got a bed because management had retired for the night for there is no possible...

It was our first time in SA and we were a bit apprehensive about the crime. We got off the train at Joburg Airport, picked up a hire car, and headed straight up the freeway to Pretoria. We followed Esme's instructions and found The Village very easily. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and Dora the cook was a treat,...

Right now, I write to you from the Village in Hatfield, after arriving here with 3 other Colleauges about an hour or so ago. Our secretary arranged for us to have breakfast and lunch, but the cooks (or cleaners, cannot tell) told us there was no such instruction of them, and looked at us as if we were a nuisance....

Located at the corner of Arcadia and Glyn Streets lined with Jacaranda trees - quiet, residential area, picturesque at this time of the year (spring). The Village in Hatfield is within easy walking distance to the Hatfield Gautrain station (off Duncan Street, there is a pedestrian/cyclist path to the station). Hatfield (Pretoria)'s main street, Burnett Street is also closeby. Hatfield...

“I am a single male, but have been placed in a room with 3 single beds...what can I say? Maybe the 2 cooks who were not instructed to cook for us can sit on a bed each, and we can discuss the dysfunctional TV....very funny (not)”
