Were delighted with our choice of guest house for 2 days in Pretoria before heading off on Rovos rail. Our room was lovely with large bathroom and free wifi. Very peaceful, safe location in the embassy district with tranquil garden and pool area with free secure parking on site. Ate in our first night as were too tired to head...

Great location and well appointed rooms. Secure parking and a tasty breakfast. Friendly owners. Will stay here again next time in Pretoria. Good value for money and comfortable, clean room with complimentary chocolate!

Situated in one of the best and safest suburbs of Pretoria, Meinjieskop Guesthouse is a stone´s throw away from all the major foreign embassies in a steet surrounded by blooming Jakaranda trees during October. Your gracious hostess is willing to go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and memorable. The room with en suite bathroom is truely a...

Rooms are spacious and clean, with good free wifi. Furniture and appliances are not state of the the art, but are solid and good and everything works. Hot breakfasts are great and made to order, and the hosts are caring and competent. The location is excellent--quiet but central, and off-road parking is ample. I have colleagues who have stayed there...

We stayed at the Meintjieskop Guest Lodge for one night in June. The property is located in a very beautiful and safe neighbourhood in Pretoria. The presidential palace is located right across the road and because of that, the property is not subject to power outages due to load shedding. The rooms themselves (we saw two of them) are very...

I stayed at the guest house on the night of the 9th June 2015. I have stayed in several guest houses in Pretoria, but this one is the best. The owners are very welcoming, friendly and will make sure that all your needs are catered for. The food, the rooms and the hospitality was all excellent. To the owners keep...

Amazing hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. They looked after us like we were their own. Great setting and in a lovely part of town. Cute shopping centre just down the road and Hatfield Mall is easy walking distance. We went for the rugby and Loftus was just at the bottom of the hill. Great value for $$.

Really well located and very friendly hosts in Mercia and Willem. This is an older place but charming and being able to mix with other guests at breakfast and in the common area made for a very pleasant stay. It is fairly close to the Union Buildings and there is a Cafe 41 within walking distance. Again it is a...

Nice owner rooms need to be redone, overall the maintenance is lacking and the buildings pool and rooms are needing some TLC, owner friendly and breakfast was ok. Don't walk anywhere in the dark but I guess that's for all of Pretoria overall rating 3 stars.

We arrived in Pretoria in June enroute to a safari trip in southern Africa. Our bags had been lost in a huge computer malfunction in Heathrow. BA was in chaos. We had 3 days with Mercia and Willem and they did all they could do help us while providing comfortable and restorative accommodation. Mercia in particular really helped us by...

“The guest rooms are large and comfortable. Note that it can be cold in June and be prepared. We were in the pink room and our friends were in the one with the balcony-both nice rooms. You feel like you are staying over in a friend's lovely house which you are.”
