What a brilliant surprised to discover this relatively sophisticated hideaway lodge close to Monash-SA. Food is good value and service excellent. Thoroughly recommended for a weekend away or just to pop for a breakfast en route to .....

Beautiful setting tranquil and clean. Excellent service from Henk to George. They went out of their way to look after us. The food is out of this world. This IS home from home and all this in the middle of a city.

This "lodge" does not even look half as good as it does on the website. We left within 30 minutes. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Had my wife in tears. What you see is definitely not what you get. They seriously need to do maintenance.

We've stayed there for two nights. We had Chalet 3 which has a balcony with views of the bush / forest. Yes it's winter and cold at night but the electrical blanket kept us really warm and comfy! We enjoyed the friendliness of the staff - thanks Lucky for your super room service! We love nature so for us the...

So my first review for this wasn't posted.. Let's see if this one goes. This was the worst place I've stayed at in the history of my almost quarter life on earth. The room was too cold because the fire place wasn't working (from what i've read, it has never worked) although there was a little oil heater which for...

So here we go again with the same person planting another 1* review ! We really don't know what is wrong with this person. All we know is that she actually said that she wants to screw us on the internet for whatever reasons. Amadwala does value honest and constructive feedback but we do not appreciate insults and bolt statements....

Had a great experience which felt as if one is surrounded by the vast African outdoors while actually still in Johannesburg! The awesome swimming pool and braai facilities are outstanding and friendly staff which fullfill your every need! This is definately a place I would come visit again and again and truly recommend to anyone seeking tranquility!
