My review does not focus too much on the rooms as they are undergoing renovations. All I can say it that the Garden room that I stayed in was spacious and comfortable and it had good Wi-Fi access. Curtains and bed throw could be replaced, looks a bit shabby. If you want a dark room to sleep at night then...

Staff is super friendly. Rooms are big and clean. Location is really great in a very safe area, even to go out for dinner in the evening walking. Really recommend it. Very good value for money!!!! We enjoyed a lot.

From the time we checked in to the time we checked out, nothing but first class service. Every request was met very promptly and with a smile. I like to think we were easy guests :) Just an extra pillow, some extra towels, helping to figure out the a/c control - all attended to perfectly! Thank you! We felt appreciated...

Great staff and a reasonably quiet venue with plenty of hot water and a good aircon. I had a small kitchen with hob, microwave, fridge, and wash up area, which was nice to have. I was a little surprised that the place was a a bit shabby and had a well-worn feel to it. In my room, a lamp was...

The hotel was very nice. Not far away from the hard rock café which we needed. There was a big parking lot and we got a spacious room for 2. There was also a heater on the room which is nice because to be honest I got cold a lot in South Africa. I forgot something (my blanket) in the...

I had a unique but simple need - just a bed for one night, warm shower and maybe a cup of tea, after a late flight. No breakfast, no hanging out. The problems were: no hot water for my shower. No milk for my tea. I arrived at 23:30 - so too late to call reception to help. It was...

What this place lacks in charm and the personal/owner-manager welcome it makes up for in terms of value and position. Right on Melville Rd it is ideal for Summer Place, cricket or Fricker Road access. As management is outsourced one feels a bit removed from the normal B&B experience, but the rooms are fine, the satellite TV is ok and...

Good place for a pitstop. The rooms were clean and very spacious. The garden is pleasant and very good for a lazy walk. The lodge has a good location and safety is assured. You are a little walk to the rosebank mall. The staff was pretty polite. Thank you.

I really regret booking here. We spent a night. We had twin beds put together and the one was higher than the other. We complained about it and they provided a double mattress that was also just not comfortable. The toilet door opens into the kitchen area. The kitchen area itself was worn out. I wouldn't recommend staying here. Can...
