Most amazing place to be no matter what time of year. Units : Black Marlin and Great White are beautiful units to stay. We then stayed with the family in the dormitory Dorado (sleeps 8) own bathroom/shower/toilet basin. Fantastic stay and ALL staff are excellent and always very helpful. The food at restaurant is very tasty, especially the specials of...

I spent 3 weeks here on a visit from the UK to see my family, I had booked 2 deluxe units for the 4 of us and can honestly say only one unit could be described as deluxe therefore most of our time was spent in 1 unit, management refused to allow us to stay together even though we did...

We stayed here for a week during August, when we first arrived we were welcomed by the very helpful staff, they showed us round and explained where everything was, the meal plans at the restaurant and the parking area as we were driving. We always felt welcome when we were there, the staff always asked us how our day was...

We stayed in the Seahorse room, and even though it was secluded, the wifi was fast, the view was incredible and the breakfast is great! The entire place is stunning- pools, a rooftop view, ocean view, things to buy and many activities. The only concern is it's a bit far from central Durban, but the view makes up for it!

Honestly, I would like to give them 3,5 stars, but rounding it up as the staff is very lovely and helpful. We stayed a week in the self-catering cottage. Our first impression was that it has a lovely view and well maintained. It had a lovely balcony to sit on and enjoy the view (but the chairs could be a...

We stayed here for 3 nights. Very close to the sea. Great affordable food and drinks. My only gripe is the lack of comfy furniture and couches to just chill out and lay back in. All the seating was upright restaurant style or hard benches. I will still be back though.

We found this hostel by chance and it became the favourite place we stayed during our south africa trip. For little money you get lots of service, nice views, clean rooms and much more. Quite close to the beach you also find relaxing spots in the big garden with two pools. You can either buy meals or cook it yourself...

Lovely helpful staff, very nice rooms, very clean. Views of the beach from decking area. Nice restaurant. There was a Zulu cooking lesson going on the night we stayed and it seemed they always had something planned to entertain there guests. Shared kitchen for guests. Swimming pool. Baz bus stop!! We stayed in the Great White Self Catering cottage at BSM and it was good value for money. We were given a warm welcome on arrival, checked in and shown around by a very friendly and chatty lady.
