The hospitality afforded me by Don was exceptional. This is the third time I have stayed here and it has only improved. Real home from home! Breakfast around a common table with all the other guests is fantastic and the option to eat near the pool is also good. Travelling with a big vehicle for business and having place for...

I spent 12 extremely pleasant days last month at Acorn B & B - the setting is unequalled and the hospitality equally as pleasant. After arriving from a 25 hour trip from NA I was treated to a delicious SA breakfast, on their delightful porch, in perfect weather! The decor and ambience is nothing but spectacular. We stayed with Don and Barbara for three nights in February at the start of a month long holiday. Prior to our trip we'd been in email correspondence with Don and he'd been very helpful, giving us lots of tips about the battlefields and the Underberg. We were therefore a bit alarmed when he asked us to bring out a...

I stayed in a comfortable and beautifully furnished room in this fabulous B&B. Delicious breakfasts too. Don, thank you for your genial hospitality, and for your recommendations (and the odd lift) of places to visit. I recommend the Holocaust Museum (and the adjoining café) for anyone with an hour or two to spare.
