I spent 5 nights there and absolutely loved it. It's a very cosy guesthouse with friendly staff. The room I booked was beautifully decorated. I did feel at home. In addition, it's easily accessible, especially if you have hired a car for your stay in Durban. I'd definitely recommend staying there.

What a fabulous place! The guesthouse is beautifully decorated, each room being so different to the others. It has a boutique hotel feel to it and each room is fully equipped with everything that you would need. The host Barbara is fabulous too and made our stay highly enjoyable. Lovely guest house, great staff, fantastic location and walking distance to the beach. The rooms are very comfortable and homely, laundry service and tea and coffee in our rooms was really good too! Would highly recommend this guest house. Kathy has a lot of local knowledge and recommendations on what to do rain or shine.

Very comfortable and cosy guest house in the plush leafy Northern area of Durban. Nice well tended garden with pool, clean, large and comfortable rooms and warm personalized welcome by Barbara. Very good diversified breakfast; we particularly appreciated the one big table formula and enjoyed the company of other kind guests. One piece of advice maybe would be to improve... More

The location is good in terms of proximity to restaurants and beaches but is noisy as it stands right on a busy corner. The other side of that is that the place is easy to find and easy to navigate around. If you sleep deeply don't be too concerned else ask for a room facing the back. It is a... More
