We were hugely disappointed with Bonamanzi for the following reasons: 1) the website, first thing, pops up LUXURY on the description and we were shocked to see that the lodgings are only 3 stars. Our "tree house" (not a tree house at all!) was in a very poor state of repair and decoration, particularly the bathrooms which look like they...

Lovely to be back here. Beautiful bush and abundant birds. Having only a few camp sites per camp spot is fantastic . We also enjoy the idea of allocated ablutions per camp site. Driving around in such thick bush one does tend to get a bit disorientated and maybe a bit more sign posting or numbered intersections that correspond with...

Amazing place. loved the exclusive campsite that each site have its own bathroom and washing area. will definitely visit the reserve again. Staff was friendly and helped with the kids wherever they could so that mom and dad can have some time together.

We stayed in Lalapanzi combos which needed some updating and basic maintenance. The common areas, the pool and the lounge overlooking the (very scenic) lake could also do with some sprucing up. Management presence seemed to be lacking and no-one really told us about the amenities or tried to promote them - and it's misleading to advertise boat trips on...

A really great place to unwind, destress and relax in the quiet of the bush. Fantastic birding opportunities. Great facilities for swimming & braaing. Unfortunately due to the drought the river cruises weren't operating but we have done a river cruise before and it was superb! Camping facilties, which is the way we holiday, are really superb with a choice...

Last minute booking to take my Parents away for a 2 day break. I flew in from overseas and we drove from Dbn to Hluhluwe. Place is understaffed for the peak season, and the entire presentation of the pace requires some attention. Bear in mind we were paying top rates for the xmas period, it was quite disappointing. Food is...
