We stopped off here for an hour whilst we had lunch. I had the buffet and my friend had a sandwich. I found the buffet reasonable and my friend under estimated the size of the sandwich he was served. He expected a light snack but what he got was equivalent to the buffet. Still he managed to finish it. Both... More

Although the staff were very helpful and friendly (a special thanks to Priscilla for going beyond the call of duty to do some late laundry). However very disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. My wife wouldn't even take a morning shower because the running water was muddy and dirty. Will not stay there again.

Stayed here for business.Rooms are clean and comfortable and the surrounding mountains and lake are beautiful. Dinner service was good although slow, it took about 45 minutes for my meal to be prepared. Lots of tourists, so the security is tight and there is ample parking. My only complaint is the late night Zulu drum performance which took place at... More

What an amazing welcome we received. Friendly smiles from the moment we parked our car, to the reception, to our room. Soon after we went on an excursion to the top of the nearby Mountain with Isaac. A very friendly and informative guide. He explained the Zulu traditions to us in detail and also the reason why the mountain is... More

A very warm welcome on arrival and although it was way past Dinner a fantastic Buffet was awaiting with superb South African wines. The rooms were beautifully clean with patio doors to the beautifully kept gardens and scenic grounds including the walk to the lake - just perfect. The hotel is set in beautiful extensive grounds with access to the nearby lake. The staff make you very welcome and the manager was very helpful. The food was perhaps a little disappointing with a BBQ the first night and a buffet the second. The bedroom good with nothing out of the ordinary.

My wife and I were part of a Saga group which stayed at Ghost Mountain Inn in late October. We had a wonderful time. The Inn has a lovely setting, the gardens are worth wandering in, and the jetty where you can relax is a joy. You can walk around the dam and the trips out which our group undertook... More

The hot is smart and food is good too. The boardwalk, albeit small, leads you to a position, on the edge of a lake, where the view found me mezmerised. It's not haunting but quite therapeutic.
