Had a great stay at moontide and unfortunately had to leave after 1 night already. Great location, lovely rooms and fantastic service. The guest house is directly located at a lagoon and only minutes walk to the beautiful beach. Highly recommended when you want to stop over in wilderness on your South African adventure!

This was our second overnight at Moontide and a thorough joy. The setting along a tidal inlet is lovely and peaceful, and the rooms are decorated with the most beautiful artwork--as the owner is an artist and collector herself. The greeting is warm and friendly, restaurant recommendations are great. Breakfast in warm weather is on a patio overlooking the inlet,...

We unfortunately stayed for only one night but had a lovely stay in the 'tree tops' room. Very friendly and helpful staff with great suggestions for activities and restaurants in the area. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Located far enough of the main road so as not to be disturbed by traffic noise by night or day and close enough that the centre of Wilderness was only a 15 minute walk away. We found it to have a great location, nestled...

Good Management filters down to every staff member and the service we received was excellent at all times, to say the least. The personal...

We had a very nice stay here. The location is one of the most beautiful we have ever seen, next to the lagoon. Good restaurants nearby, seaside as well. The staff is very friendly and warm, were very kind to our little one. They gave us good recommentdations for day trips.

We were greeted by friendly staff, 2 friendly dogs and a shy one and even a wild bird ate our of my hand. What a magical place. The furnishings are quaint and beautiful. Amenities like hand-made soaps were a wonderful touch. The location is quiet, peaceful and lovely. You cannot go wrong with this place. We chose Wilderness over Knysna...

Beautifully decorated, well-equipped rooms (Milkwood Cottage and Moonshadow1), great breakfast enjoyed by the river, use of canoes, excellent staff (thanks to Tim). One problem: we only stayed 1 night
