Beautiful camp in natural surroundings Chalet with a view looking out towards the veldt. Big stoep with table and chairs and braai. The chalet is definitely too small for three people. Bathroom has very small shower with toilet in front of shower and small basin....More

We have stayed at Berg-en-Dal twice. It is a smaller more intimate camp but with all the amenities: store, restaurant, take away food including ice cream and a gas station. The bungalows are the most modern in the park. Large rooms with indoor kitchens –...More

We stayed in a bungalow with amenities, and I certainly do not mind 'rustic', but found the bedding needs to be upgraded. There were stains on the counterpane and it looked grubby. Other than that the bungalow was neat and tidy.

We've just spent four days staying in a bungalow at Berg en Dal in Kruger National Park. The accommodation is comfortable and rustic. Being situated in the Park is very convenient for game viewing opportunities. Highly recommended.

Planning on visiting end November 2016. We plan on driving from JNB. Based on our knowledge the Berg-en-dal camp seems to be best suited for us. Two adults and two kids (13 and 11, I guess that makes us 3 adults and 1 kid). Are the family cottages FA6 and FA6C our best options? We do want something with air conditioning. Do the windows have insect netting? Any advice is welcome.

Please ensure you take anti malaria medication as Lower Sabi is now considered a risk from ceribral malaria. Air con was in all camps but it's noisey! Hope it helps...enjoy!
