The organisation and attention to detail at Sweni is excellent. Our guide, Chantelle and tracker, Glass, worked brilliantly together to make sure we had a good time. Not only was the game viewing and birding good but the scenery was breathtaking. The chefs Sean and Sidney along with their team produced some really first class food and were kind enough...

Truly a great stay. Wonderful service and food. Every need taken care of. The game drives were amazing. We were lucky to have Jacques as our guide and Sunday as our tracker. The two of them were top notch. I can't recommend this lodge enough. Truly a great stay.

The arrival at the Singita landing area set the tone for the whole trip--minimalist, natural, and completely in the wild, but luxurious, courteous, and perfect. The resort lodge itself seems impossibly perched in the trees above the river, like a bird's nest. It's designed to disappear. The rooms have glass walls so the view and the experience with nature is...

I can't fault Sweni. The design and attention to detail are extraordinary; the staff are attentive and thoughtful; the food is understated and lovely; the reserve itself ("the concession") is beyond belief. It's expensive. It's quite wonderful. Ask for Brian as your guide and Howard as your spotter; I hope you spot a black rhino trotting through the veldt.

We spent a week at Sweni/Lebombo for our Honeymoon and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were great and always 3 steps ahead of you, no matter what you needed someone was always ready to help. We both gained 10 lbs from all the food we ate, between breakfast, game drive snacks, dinner and afternoon...

We have stayed at all of the Singita lodges in South Africa and I have to say that there is something very special about Sweni and the way that it is operated. First of all, the private Lebombo concession that Singita has for both Sweni and Lebombo lodges is truly outstanding. It is massive, beautiful, quiet and not 'over-traded' (like...

There are 6 rooms here, so certainly a small lodge, but we loved it all the more for that. Peaceful with a lovely view of the river and the wildlife that brings. The rooms are large, comfortable and very luxurious. The food is very good, although I suspect due to their only being 6 rooms a little more limited than...
