The camp is well positioned and really close to the gate. Although the camp is quite big, it did not feel crowded. We had a riverside view that was quite relaxing. The shop was well stocked, and, the restaurant had great food and service.

Room was fairly clean and comfortable, communal kitchen. However price of accommodation is becoming too expensive for South African visitors. For the price we pay at kruger per night, we can get a 4 star resort in Umhlanga for that price. Shop was well stocked....More

The Skukuza rest camp in the central Kruger is the largest camp and has a great location. Easy to access, being only 12 kn from the Paul Kruger Gate or 67 km from the Malelane Gate. The rondawels are fairly basic, but clean and comfortable...More

We had our own car so we didn't do any of the planned walks/safaris. But I did see the enthusiasm of the other guests to sign up for the night safari. I wanted to do a bush walk but they weren't doing them in that season.
