I'm no fan of zoos- they bore me- so I had a little trepidation when we decided to go on "safari". Who knew I would have so much fun and staying at the Lukimbi was a big part of it. First our guide, James, was beyond superb. I'm sure their other guides were good, but James consistently knew where to...

This Hotel as the charm of a 5 stars hotel. The rooms are simple superb. With the giant marble tub, the balcony and the outside shower. The staff is very professional and there is a warm feeling every time you arrive to the hotel. The guides are just the best and they mingle with the guest as if you were...

My family (6 people) went to Lukimbi for Christmas in 2016. I just can't even express how amazing the trip was! To start, for the safari, it was excellent we saw everything!! (Big 5 (including black and white rhinos) + cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, giraffes, and too many other animals to name. Our safari guide, James was excellent in taking us...

16 individual chalets looking out onto watering holes with great vista of animals passing by. Chalets are spacious and beds extremely comfy. 2x 3 hour safaris each day: at 5.30am with breakfast after and at 4pm with dinner following. Lunch is at 2pm. We normally had 6 people in our Land Rover and were assigned Reinhardt as our ranger and...

All in all it's a ver nice place. Location is beautiful, view is perfect and rooms are lovely. Safaris and walks (the main reasons for the trip) could have been better. Especially when you compare it to other places in SA. Felt a bit rushed, too planned. E.g. sundowners must happen at a specific spot regardless of whether there's something...

From the moment we arrived, till we left, the staff at Lukimbi treated us more like family than guests. They were warm and welcoming and attended to our requests with a smile and in an efficient manner. The rooms were spectacular, with the bath facing the river and the bush being the best feature for me. I was able to...

From the very first moment you feel the great care of the whole team. Service is incredible, organization is superb, the whole lodge is amazing. Usually I'm able to find a flaw in anything but Lukimbi left me speechless. Everything was perfect to final detail. I'd like especially to express my gratitude and appreciation to our ranger Werner and our...

This stunning and beautiful safari lodge is located in a large private concession within Kruger National Park. It's very exclusive and private with only 16 all suite lodges. The service is excellent and everyone's warm and friendly. We had our guide, Garth, and tracker, Stranger - both experienced and very informative and this certainly enhances our experience during our game...
