Second visit to this rest camp at different times of year. Whilst the accommodation is the best we have come across in Kruger, the terrain around the camp makes viewing very difficult and we struggled to see many animals. This camp is fairly well placed for exiting Kruger and travelling back to Johannesburg or other areas of South Africa but...

There are many camps to choose from. Pretoriuskop being close to Numbi gate is a popular choice. The variety of accommodation offered is great but be aware that some rooms are really small so book wisely. The most beautiful pool is situated an the east of the camp, this was the first pool 9n the Kruger National Park and by...

We Camped at Pretoriuskop Camp. The camping facilities here is really great. The restrooms is clean and tidy. There some shops and a restaurant and a pool. You can go out in the morning at 6am and be back at 6pm.

The rest camp and cabin was clean and even though there were a lot of people it did not feel overly crowded. The pool area was great on the warm days and the kids enjoyed it the most. I only saw one restaurant (Wimpy), but there was a shop where you could buy caned goods and meats. Overall a very...

I like Pretoriuskop because of the older, rustic style chalets. Try to get a chalet on the perimeter of the fence to have more of a bush feeling. The braai facility close to the chalet makes a perfect setting for an enjoyable evening.

Always a big pleasure visiting the Kruger. Pretoriuskop is a beautiful clean well managed camp with a swimming pool and a restaurant. Well done on keeping your camping looking up to standard for visitors! Loved it!

It was a my first time in a Restcamp, we loved each and every moment of it. Even though it is basic that's what we opted for. The price is also reasonable. Our only challenge was the opening time of the restaurant for breakfast.

We stayed here for one night, and as far as I'm concerned that was one night too many. The state of facilities is neglected and the actual cottage we stayed looked like it hadn't been refurbished since the Royal family stayed there in the 50s. The bed spread had cigarette burns in it, the curtains giant holes and the grass...

I loved it here. The round rooms we had were brilliant. Clean, tidy and perfectly adequate for or needs. The swimming pool is one of the most unusual. It is a shame that a Wimpy is the only means of eating out - that said, the food was perfectly ok. The shop was well stocked if a little pricey, but...

Wonderful place to stay, we were looked after so well. Only extra thing I would have welcomed would be what us English people would call a goezunder (goes under). In other words a pee pot... Just loved having the beds turned down at night and to come home to a lamp having been turned on for us. Thanks so much.
