The Ecolodge was amazing and the staff were really great. The location is perfect near the "wild" but also close enough to commerical set ups. The staff are great and service is impeccable. Highly recommend it !

The rooms are nice a spacious, with a big bed and kitchenette. It was clean enough. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The lodge needs some modernising. Breakfast was basic, and just what we needed: Muffins, toast, tea, juice, cereals and fruit. Theres a pool on the property.

Very misleading and definitely NOT 4 Star. Outdated appliances, bathrooms in sore need of upgrading. Overpaid for two nights, stayed for one only! Owner has a terrible attitude and "money can't buy class". Such a pity as this place, now renamed "Eco Lodge" has potential. The young couple working there are great! :(

Spent 3 amazing nights. The lodge is undergoing major upgrades and we could sense and feel the excitement, love and passion the new owner and staff have for this lovely facility. Watch this space..... Breathtaking views, super friendly and efficient staff, very comfortable bed, ample fresh oxygenated air and decadent African cuisine made our stay superb. We watch in anticipation...

Beautiful garden and beautiful setting. We stayed four days in December. The lodge has a surprisingly small number of rooms which makes for a personal experience. Room cleaning was "variable". We received a different number of towels each day, culminating with zero towels on the last day. Locks are provided on the fridge - a sign that some guests and/or...

Expensive for what it is. Receptionist wasn't helpful at all in question that needed to be answered. Rooms were old fashioned & needed to be updated. Swimming pool was very small, our breakfast they ran out of food???

We recently visited from New Zealand and hired 4 rooms with family. Nice setting, friendly staff however the units are in desperate need of maintenance. 1 of the 4 units had a adequate hot water in the shower, the other 3 units were basically cold showers. There is some maintenance underway, hopefully all the small issues get addressed soon.

The lodge is beautifully located but poorly equipped and run down. Kitchen utilities were inadequate. The braai was broken and had to be replaced. The air conditioner was faulty and extremely noisy resulting in a lack of sleep-like trying to sleep on the Grand Prix race track! There was also a problem with a lack of water at night after...

My husband and I booked a weekend getaway for our one year anniversary between the 29th April - 1st May 2016. We arrived at the lodge at 3pm (an hour later than the check in time), upon arrival no room had been setup for us so we had to wait. The room we were eventually allocated was dirty and untidy...
