Quiet, clean rooms, and excellent service and food at the restaurant. While the room we were in was very basic, it was perfect for a one night stop over. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The proprietors are very friendly and took good care of us for a very affordable price.

When we made enquiries we found that (those that responded) either supper was not offered or kitchen closed at 21h00. The team at Kurula however were only too happy to help and kept supper aside for us...

At the rates the Karula Hotel charges do not expect 5 star amenities and idyllic views from your room. But you can expect a spacious clean room with air conditioning, a tranquil setting, a large swimming pool and tennis courts for the more energetic. The real attraction, however, is the attention that visitors receive from the management and their team....

We stayed at the Karula for two nights before venturing into Kruger Park. Tom and the crew made sure we had a great time. From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of the family. The amount of pride that the owner takes in the guests' experience makes the stay unforgettable. The dinner is absolutely not to be missed!...

Friendly reception, traditional values, good food, comfortable room and the lowveld climate - what's not to enjoy? Closeness to Kruger Park and other Lowveld highlights makes it even more attractive. Will be back.

A singular experience one should have if aiming for an African Safari with fine dining and hostellerie. Kapama Karula has a wonderful and well trained staff. The cuisine is top quality and modernist yet using the best of local ingredients. The adrenaline is always present since one can just walk into a Nyala (kind of deer) going to the room,...
