Pilanesberg is firstly a malaria free area - so not worries on that front. November through to feb is the wetter season so insects will be more prevalent than say May to September in the cooler dry season. as long as you keep the doors and windows closed you are unlikely to experience any problems, and use a decent insect repellent at dusk and dawn. That said this is Africa and anything can go in the wild. closed shoes would be advisable walking around at night as scorpions may also be around.
