The rate been charged at R1,700 per night B&B is similar to most 4 star hotel rates in SA and is definitely not justified for what the chalets at Manyane have to offer There are not many accomodation options around the Pilanesberg area- it is mostly 5 star with a heavy price tag If you want to be local to...

Stayed for two nights in a 2 bed unit with breakfast included. Reception was quick to book us in even if we were an hour early. Unit was clean, but little bar fridge was not working, after an hour maintenance figured that the wall plug is problem. It was sorted. Breakfast is a variety of the English breakfast, not bad,...

We arrived fresh form the airport with a magnificient game drive from Baklata gate to Mayane Resort. The dinner was great and the tents a first great experience with nature....next day we had another great game drive to the visitor centre where we saw many animals. From there we left for a 4 day wilderness trail in the real wild...

This was our first time camping at Manyane. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the facilities were, the staff, and the LACK of monkeys and baboons being a nuisance. We have experienced the bothersome monkeys and baboons at both the Manyane Day-use pool and the Pilanesburg Center during previous visits but this time we hardly saw any monkeys or...

"communication" needs improvement in this day and age with mobile phones etc, it is ridiculous that we missed a evening or morning safari due to poor communications as did 2 other tourist waiting from 5:15 am for a 6am SAFARI TOUR that never happened and then to be told we could do one at 9am.

I am utterly disgusted with the way the manyane campsite is run. I came camping in what i thought would be a peafeful retreat in a national park. For 2 nights we had to put up with numerous other campers partying with loud music until 2 in the morning. Where are the rule enforcements? Its a nature reserve not a...

The ablution block B had no water when we arrived at the caravan park on Saturday. There also was a major water leakage at the tap close to the tents. I suggest that this be fixed during the week. Watching the big five during the weekend was a great experience

Some work has been done and the ablutions in the camping grounds were always clean. Power points require some attention as well as lighting on the roads but over all not a bad experience. Did not stay in bungalows so cannot comment on the rooms etc

Great personnel and what a beautiful layout. Just great. the game park was the wright size with plenty animals in great codition. The caravan section is professionally layout with fantastic ablution blocks with more than enough toilets, shower and baths. Close to Sun City, only 22 Km of tar road.
