We have made this our regular stop over venue on our way to Cape Town and each time we are impressed with the excellent service, friendly staff, good food, clean and neat room. Great outdoor facilities, mountain bike trails, horse riding and walking trails.

We stopped here on way to the Cape. It was great to have a place to walk around and a pool to cool down in. There was a great supper and breakfast. The chalet was well equipped but would have been small for a longer stay. Wi-fi is available but a bit difficult to use. I recommend Olive Grove as...

Ideal stop over. We stayed in small chalet with braai facilties and all the utensils available. Not far from the N1, only about 10 min. Well cared for with plenty of parking and pool to cool off. Bathroom only fit for one at a time! Will definitely stop over again.

We stayed on route to Knysna. It was great to arrive after a long drive and be able to stretch our legs on the walking trail. The scenery is very pretty even though the flamingo pan was dry. The cottage is very well appointed if you are self catering. We chose to have dinner, which was very good. The rooms...

This was my fourth stay at Olive Grove Guest Farm during my annual trip to the Cape in December. I choose this guest house because of its amazing setting. the lovely walks amongst the olive trees, and the general ambience. The staff are always friendly and helpful. This time round I felt that the breakfast was a bit too limited...

Stayed at Olive Grove twice in November as a stopover between the Cape & Kimberley and would definitely stay there again. Great location, far enough from the main routes to enjoy the Karoo peace & quiet and close enough to use as a stopover. Friendly management, spacious rooms and good food with slow cooked Karoo lamb for dinner. Bed was...

I have yet to stay in a better place on trips I have made in SA, the hospitality afforded me was of the highest standard, and I would drive from Durban for the magnificent meal at the drop of a hat. The Karoo is special, and this stopover is on my "must visit again" list.

We had a great time at Olive Grove. The staff was very friendly and helpful, not even to mention the mouthwatering dinner we had in their restaurant. We did the walking trail on the farm, although it was a very hot day it was still nice to be outdoors in the Karoo.
