The atmosphere is lovely, staff friendly and the views spectacular however I can't say the dinner did much for me considering the R235 per head. Typically our stays have been only en-route overnight, but we do need to think about extending those stays for longer periods in this great little haven in the...

Wonderfully welcoming staff, delicious food, beautifully appointed and exceptionally spacious rooms and a view of the Karoo landscape from the enormous front veranda that is simply to die for - this is what awaits you at Lemoenfontein Lodge. If ever there was an oasis of tranquillity and beauty - this is it.

The setting of the rooms are great and in particular the dining area offers stunning views of the karoo veld. The rooms are equipped with all the necessary amenities. The service and food was excellent. It was a pity that the next door air conditioner made a loud noise throughout the night.

Service was first class, room was very comfortable, top notch furnishings and crisp white linen. Wine and beer bought to our room while we sat on the patio admiring the view... but the best was yet to come, dinner on the stoep with a view as far as the eye could see, yummy karoo lamb served with all the trimmings....

We had a wonderful stay at this rather unique and beautifully situated Guest House. A very charming place which will no doubt become a regular stop over for us on our travels! The hotel staff were very helpful and attentive and the dinner on the patio was simply perfect!

True Karoo hospitality, lovely people, fantastic home cooked meals, clean modern rooms in the most beautiful setting. Do yourself a favor and stay an extra day to enjoy the pool and mountain views. Such friendly staff really enjoyed our stay.
