Just spent 1 night here mid October and we were sorry that we hadn't booked for longer. Prime location directly facing the lovely beach. We were in a superior sea view room which was well worth paying the extra supplement. The room was spacious with a separate seating area and furnished balcony looking out to the bay. Shortly after arrival...

Good Afternoon 54JCL Only 1 night, what a shame. You did not have time to enjoy Camps Bay to it's fullest. I am sure you would have had a fantastic time. Perhaps we will be able to host you with us for a longer period on your next visit. I will discuss the noise from the other room doors with...

The rooms at the Bay Hotel are lovely and spacious - mine had a separate seating area and also a balcony overlooking the pool. Breakfast is taken in an area of the hotel with a stunning view of the sea and provided the usual wide range of options including both a buffet and a cooked-to-order menu. My only issue was...

Good Afternoon Madge04 Thank you so much for your feedback. I'm glad that you found our rooms to be enjoyable and your are right about this wonderful view we have. I am sorry that we were limited with regards to vegetarian items, but as you found we are flexible when it comes to satisfying the needs of our guests. However,...

My mom and I were looking for a comfortable, scenic place to unwind after an 18-hour journey, but with flexible options for day activities and evening dining. The Bay Hotel and Camps Bay area were the perfect choice! The manager upgraded us to sea-facing rooms as part of their late-August special, and we could hear the waves crashing on the...

I have admired this hotel from a distance for many years and would say that if you are spending the money I would go for the One and Only or the 12 Apostles. It is a lovely hotel don't get me wrong and its main advantage is that it is right bang smack in the centre of Camps Bay. The...

Good Day AfricanladyScotland I am sorry that you feel that we lack that "wee bit of polish and finesse" but needless to say that training is always on-going and I am sure that you will note a difference on your next visit. Warmest regards James

Great service and friendly atmosphere especially when on your holiday that is key got just that. Coupled with breathtaking views. Great restaurants more options right outside the hotel as well. Great for family visits as the beach is right in front.

Luxurious hotel with spacious rooms and beds. Favorite part is the breakfast: the omelettes are delicious and you eat overlooking the stunning ocean! There are the standard fruit/toast/pastry options, but then also several cooked options (like my omelette!) We were so full off breakfast that we spent the days exploring Cape Town all day and only had a small snack...

I've spent a few days trying to work out how to rate this place. In many aspects it's a classy hotel. Great location, accommodation was all neat and tidy. But then it dawned on me. I felt like the staff don't come across as ONE team. It was a stuttered performance. Everyone had a job to do but I didn't...

A very chic hotel in a great location. We used this as a base for travelling in and around the Cape Town area, rather than having a city hotel. The views from the hotel are incredible, across Camps Bay. The room we had was lovely, and fairly spacious. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff very friendly. Plenty of very good...

This was my second time staying in the Bay Hotel (I previously spent two nights here in 2014). The first time I visited this hotel I was extremely impressed, it's beautiful location and impressive interior really hit those 5 star expectations. My second visit, sorely disappointing. Good Day Seren N I am disappointed, to say the least, to read of your experience in our beautiful hotel. Located right opposite Campy Bay beach, but still not far away from Cape Town centre, this hotel is probably the best destination for a few days visit to the area.
