We arrived and were met by the owner Phillip who took us to our room- what a surprise- it was beautiful- large, spacious with a fireplace and beautiful hand made bath- big enough for two! Even though the property is in the center of Greenpoint we could have been on a farm it was so quiet and secluded. This must...

After reading previous reviews of Romney Lodge, I arrived with great expectations. I am happy to say that my expectations were indeed met and some exceeded when Philip showed me to my room. The house is more than 120 years old and although it has been updated with modern fixtures, the charm of the old Victorian house remained. My room...

What a hidden gem Romney Lodge is! Not only is the actual lodge beautifully put together, super comfortable and inviting, but Eunice's great breakfasts and Phillip and Eunice's warm, caring hospitality goes way beyond the call of duty. I would recommend Romney Lodge to anyone who is travelling, needs a local break or just wants to be nurtured. Thank you...

Phillip was extremely helpful and swift...
