Stayed in this hotel for 5 days over Xmas, and it was rather special with a choir on Xmas eve. We were upgraded to a lovely room ( but no view ) Breakfast was great but the scrambled eggs were runny and bacon was terrible . They have a shuttle bus and free consierege car. The general manager was lovely and...

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the lovely Taj Hotel in Cape Town and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The hotel has an amazing staff who couldn't wait to take care of our every need. They even have a couple of "house cars" and most evenings dropped us at our restaurant where they had made reservations...

Thanks Taj staff. Our first stop in our SA trip and you made an incredible impression! Wonderful friendly staff with fabulous cheeky humour. Big rooms! Great breakfast buffet. They have free valet parking it you are self driving. We walked daily to the V&A area. About 15 mins. Felt incredibly safe during the day. Would highly recommend.

We had confirmed reservations for a Club Level room after 24 hours of flying. While our room was on the Club level, neither the club concierges or front desk had record that we had booked a club room. After several conversations, we were allowed to 'upgrade' our reservation but after having several cocktails during happy hour, the concierge brought a...

Our family of 6 spent 5 nights at The Taj Hotel in Capetown, South Africa and had a delightful holiday because of the service and accommodations. At the end of our stay the hotel helped with the transfer to our family home in the southern suburbs. We have...

The hotel staff might be the most gracious we have encountered in quite sometime. The place was originally a bank building so it reflects old world charm but with all modern conveniences. It is located close to the botanical gardens.

A short overnight and incredibly disappointing stay. I arrived at the hotel very late at night alone only to find that all of the streets had been blocked off for some distance due to a festival. I had to walk with heavy luggage by myself for almost 1km very late at night. Given that this event was pre-planned for some...

We spent 5 nights at the Taj - what a lovely stay. The staff were amazingly friendly. We were made to feel very special. We enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet, decadent high tea and evening drinks and canapés. The apartment was luxurious with super comfortable beds and pillows. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this outstanding hotel.

The Taj Cape Town welcomes guests to the vibrant heart of the one of the world's most scenic and desirable cities, Cape Town. The hotel is a combination of rich history and elegant contemporary architectures. This luxury hotel is perfectly located in the centre of historic Cape Town at the entrance of the famous pedestrian precinct, St George's Mall. It's prime location ensures a blend of fascinating history, exotic culture, soulful art, lively entertainment and delectable cuisine. - Within walking distance to most tourist attractions, monuments, museums, shopping, restaurants, markets and nightlife. Adding to this grand yet welcoming atmosphere are the two dining experiences, the Indian fine dine specialty restaurant, Bombay Brasserie and Mint, a relaxed all-day dining restaurant. Both are warm and welcoming and serve outstanding cuisine. Alongside this you'll find wonderful Champagne and tapas bar known as The Twankey Bar which is exceedingly popular with both locals and guests alike. Rooms are located in both the heritage buildings and the contemporary tower wing, but all continue to seamlessly merge history and modernity. Luxury Rooms have spectacular city or breathtaking mountain views overlooking the famous Table Mountain and the Taj Club Rooms and suites offer all the benefits of the executive Club Lounge including butler service, evening canapes, cocktails and private breakfast. One and Two Bedroom Suites are also available, perfect for the discerning traveller or for families.
