We stayed here for three nights at the start of our honeymoon - what a truly unique and special place! The hotel is more like a luxurious bed and breakfast - very intimate setting. I loved the breakfast - so many delicious options and the afternoon tea was always beautiful and plenty. We were helped by Mitch many times with...

On our recent trip to CT and Winelands we stayed in five hotels ranging from about £300 to £950 per night - this was the cheapest and came an equal first with Birkenhead House! What really makes this place apart from the location, views, superb high tea, fab spacious immaculate rooms, comfy beds, complimentary transport to restaurants, good breakfast cooked...

I'd call MannaBay a fancy bed and breakfast. Sitting at the foot of Table Mountain, and with a view of the entire city, this spot is the opposite of staying at the WaterFront. The hotel would provide a ride to our restaurant, and would in turn provide us (also) with a car pickup, by paying a nominal $10 cash payment...

Beautiful converted house on top of hill with excellent views out over the city. Peaceful, lovely staff, beautiful modern room with terrace deck and great dining room. I had just one night here and it would be lovely for a longer stay. Afternoon tea looked quite special. I was out and missed it but they were ever so kind and...

Breakfast is cooked to order with a very nice cold buffet Afternoon tea is delicious with sandwiches meat pies cakes etc. On demand drinks any time Lovely pool and gardens Great views of...

We had a wonderful stay for 2 nights at Mannabay. The service was first class - our room was ready despite us arriving relatively early in the afternoon, and we were greeted with a glass of champagne. Our room was stunning, with our own private pool and the afternoon tea was a real treat (and absolutely delicious). The drinks are...

Thank you for your review and sharing your experience with us. We are so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed your time with us. If you could please contact me on mitch@mannabay.com with a little more information as I would like to discuss this with my team to avoid this from ever happening in the future. Kind regards, Mitch

Mannabay was our last stop on our honeymoon, and we were pleasantly surprised by the exquisite service, including high tea, champagne, amazing food spread in the afternoons, and whiskey offerings at night. Our oriental room was beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious (windows on three sides overlooking the pool). Our flight was at midnight and they were very gracious about letting...

In Manna Bay, each bedroom is a masterpiece of interior design. The decoration is incredible, black and white from floor-to-ceiling, with stunning photographs of South Africa, massive zebra patterns, white orchids... The architecture is very unique. Manna Bay is created around different atmospheres, from the zen garden with koi carps and papyrus plants, the laid-back rooftop terrace with giant bean...

This is the fifth year that we have stayed at Manna Bay and it goes from strength to strength. What sets it apart is not the fabulous building nor the stunning views nor the utterly delicious breakfast or the equally amazing high tea, pink bubbly included, but the people who look after you. They are a wonderful team for whom...

I believe MannaBay is the best hotel in Cape Town - possibly one of the best in the world. My wife and I have traveled extensively throughout the world, but we have agreed that this is the absolute best hotel that we have ever experienced! Bronwynne was extremely helpful in assisting with our initial reservation and our restaurant requests. Mitch...
