Anne and Bruce are delightful hosts providing a beautiful guesthouse in a great location. The rooms are big and impeccably clean. We loved the breakfast- a typical English-style breakfast. The area is a great location for getting around in a quiet neighborhood yet 2 blocks away are great restaurants (Miller's Thumb restaurant is outstanding) and bars. Anne was helpful in...

I can't say enough good things about our stay at the Underberg Guest House. The house is at the same time cozy and luxurious with the most welcoming Hosts that you could ask for. The location is perfect; a short walk or cab ride away from many sights and trendy areas, while away from the bustle of downtown. The neighborhood...

It has taken a while to get around to writing this review, but we had a wonderful stay at Underberg Guest House in Cape Town last June. The room was fantastic, large and spacious with a balcony- we were upgraded as it was a quiet time. We found our hosts very welcoming and helpful with information, and the breakfasts were...

Underberg Guest House is perfectly located in the Tamberskloof neighborhood, so it was walking distance to most tourist areas (Long Street, Bo Kaap, City Centre). What wasn't walking distance was a short Uber ride (Table Mountain, Lion's Head, Signal Hill, V&A Waterfront). The neighborhood felt safe, and we often walked to dinner each night. The guest house is very clean....

We enjoyed our stay a lot! The location of the house is excellent! The house is very clean, house and room are nicely furnished, the hosts were very helpful and gave sightseeing tips, breakfast was good, the "trust bar" is a nice idea. We stayed in room 4 which is a little noisy because the kitchen is located directly beneath,...

We stayed at Underberg Guest House for the first 5 nights of our recent 3 week trip along the Garden route. It is a lovely old building full of character, calm, peaceful, spotlessly clean, in a great location for visiting Cape Town and with friendly, relaxed welcoming hosts in Anne and Bruce. The clear view of Table Mountain from the...
