We stayed in the Underberg for 5 nights in March 2015. Anne was very welcoming offering plenty of information on our arrival. She was very helpful during our stay too, helping us plan our days and keeping us up to date in particular regarding the cable car for table mountain! We also arranged a wine tour through Ann and had... More

Underberg is a wonderful place to stay. The owners are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and have good suggestions on places to visit etc. Breakfasts are good and rooms are very comfortable. The atmosphere here is warm and friendly.

My husband and I found this lovely place by lucky coincidence. This renovated and very well kept Victorian house was very nice to stay in: it's in the central area of Cape Town, very comfortable bed, clean and modern shower & bath, fresh breakfast, and Anne & Bruce were very friendly and helpful hosts. We would definitely come back at... More

great guesthouse, good room, safe area, good restaurants within walking distance, Anne and Bruce offer excellent advice what to do and organise tours with trusted associates,, we were 2 hours late coming back from Robben Island and were pleasantly surprised that a car had waited so long to pick us up. Easy to walk into central Cape Town.

I loved the old style house with typical high ceilings, our room was spacious and very comfortable. Anne is a perfect hostess giving advice on what to visit around Cape Town. We liked the location because it is a quiet suburb, although very close to restaurants and we walked to the city center. Bit further from V&A, but we had... More

We stayed only one night at Bruce and Anne’s guest home, but it left such a good impression, that my wife and I felt compelled to share our experiences. First of all, the Tamboerskloof neighborhood is the ideal location to stay while in Cape Town. It is a safe, quiet residential area near shops, dining and nightlife, set against the... More
