Large, comfortable room with good linen. Suite needs a bit of attention - damaged paintwork, numerous missing lightbulbs, frayed bath towels but all in all a convenient and comfortable stay and good value for money in a busy area.

Beautifully appointed family owned property, with a lovely history, set in a quiet and friendly area of Cape Town. The suite I had was stunning, immaculately clean and very very comfortable, I wish I could have stayed longer! The owners and staff were very warm and welcoming, but also kept themselves quietly in the background leaving you to get on...

Spacious, grand apartment. Centrally but peacefully located. Friendly and helpful welcome. We were only there one night, but would be a great place to return to after a hectic day's sightseeing. Easy walking distance of restaurants and bars and not much further to the museums.

We were pleasantly surprised from our arrival. The reception was was, extremely helpful and thorough. Even though it was an old house, it was clean, with well designed interior and great beds. The minor flaws were only one bathroom, a bit noisy during the night from nearby night traffic. I will certainly recommend this venue for a family or friends...

This is a great place to stay! Emy was wonderful! She made me feel comfortable as a woman alone in a strange land. She even arranged a golf date for me! I felt completely at home! Thanks for a great stay. I would love to come back!

We had a wonderful time at 5 camp street. Our cottage was very large, clean and had all the amenities we could wish for. It is very centrally located so we could walk everywhere. The owner was extremely helpful in advising us where to go, booking taxis for us, etc. Would definitely stay there again.

Very good location close tobotanical garden and trendy restos, friendly and helpful staff, neat, spacious and tasteful appartment. The proximity of a slightly busy road made it a bit noisy. Great choice anyhow

Whenever we visit Cape Town, definitely we are going to stay in 5 camp. They arranged tours for us as well on reasonable prices. As owners run the place, they are very efficient and friendly. No hidden charges.... excellent experience
