We stayed for ten days in march , weather good apart from the strong winds which stopped the bike race a great pity. Breakfast excellent choice of hot and cold food to choose from. Fresh hot tea and coffee could be had for the asking with very little waiting time. Snacks could be had throughout the day, drinks from the...

The hotel its self is a good standard. The evening buffet was a bit hit and miss. The choices were limited except on the Saturday for some reason the choices more than doubled. The real down side is the location. Didn't bode well when the hotel staff advised the removal of all jewellery before leaving the hotel. The reason was...

This hotel has a good location, not far from the top end of the Company Gardens. We were staying for 6 days, so the staff were very helpful when we asked to change to a larger room with views down towards the bay and the city. The hotel's facilities tend towards the basic (the pool area is a bit scruffy)...

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and really enjoyed it. We usually choose a 5 star all inclusive package and we're nervous about staying in a 3 star hotel, but we're pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and just couldn't do enough for us, the breakfasts were of a good quality with bacon, beans, sausages, eggs, mushrooms...

I'm here for a few days on business. I really like this location, the view of the mountain to the rear is great and it's a short and pleasant walk to downtown. The room and bathroom are both really spacious. Breakfast is stock-standard, which is not meant to mean it's bad (it's fine), but if you stay in hotels you...

We booked his hotel after reading reviews here but this was worst experience ever . It began with lady in reception giving us a smoking room for non smoking booking . When we asked for water , the guest services told us only one bottle is free ( usually all 5 stars never charge for water ) . THe hotel...

What sticks out was the service rendered to us by Freddie who secured us a suitcase to spread the load of accouterments we had picked up on vacation. Her help went above and beyond and is a positive to the hotel. Look after her!

Stayed here for 3 nights during mid-week. Was expecting a bland, mid range experience, so it was nice to have our expectations exceeded. Very very helpful and friendly staff (especially Freddy!), better than average restaurant - so it's a good option for dinner if too tired / late to go into the city. Really good breakfast too.Would stay again.

I travel a lot and my rule of thumb is to only write reviews for excellence or terrible. Wasn't sure what to expect as had never stayed in this part of Cape Town before and the room rate was lower than I would have expected, but this place oozes all round excellence Led by what I call a 'proper' manager...
