Watching the mist rising from the horizon as the sun rise and listening to the sea traffic must have been the highlight of this stay. We received a free bottle of red wine on arrival but could not enjoy the high tea since it was...More
Comfortable stay. Valet parking and excellent staff to greet you. Check-in a bit slow - no-one showed us to our rooms. Housekeeping very random and quite intrusive. Breakfasts superb. Light meals in Lounge not good. Location also superb. Pool, which is heated, is cold -...More
Friends of ours arrived late after a 10-hour flight. Exhausted, they climbed into bed and fell asleep. Only in the morning did they discover that their sheets and comforter were stained with excrement from the previous occupant of the room.

Beautiful hotel located right on the waterfront. Easy to get to the mall which has a lot of great restaurants. Highly recommended for first time Cape Town visitors! The rooms and accommodations were extremely comfortable and we had a great view of the water!
We booked through Safari 365 for family room with ocean view. We arrived at night and checked in, front desk clerk gave us 1st floor garden view. Although we had confirmed email and details document, we have to repeat a few times to get the...More

Hi Steven, They made certain that we were aware of the current water crises in the area. Drinking water was replenished with bottled water and we were asked to use water sparingly when using the bathroom. They did request that we should try to ask for linen replacement only when we deemed it necessary. We never had the impression that they were policing our water usage, rather felt that they left the choice on us to act responsibly. The pool was fully functional when we were there and we made use of it on our last day while waiting for our transfer back to the airport. I would advise that you contact the hotel closer to your arrival date to ascertain, if the drought situation has changed at all.
