I loved staying here for the fact that they noticed we were using the futon as a bed and they brought in an extra bed without us asking! The bathroom was small, but our goal was to be out and about in Cape Town so that did not matter. The breakfast is good and the staff was helpful. My only...

DSTV access was poor - very limited choice but the WIFI was excellent and do keep it up. The breakfast was good but lacked variety and do something about the flies in the restaurant, please. The service was good as staff were always willing to assist but a bit aggressive which was scary.

This is a comfortable midrange hotel right in the heart of Cape Town, near St. George's cathedral, the train station, and several museums. A great place to start your walks in and around Cape Town from. The waterfront is about twenty minutes by foot. Staff were helpful, polite, and quick to respond. Breakfast was good with many selections, hot and...

I enjoyed my few days at the Parliament Hotel. It is downtown and easy to catch the public transport or walk to sites. There is a boisterous bar down the street, but that can be good or bad, depending on your wishes. Staff were lovely--super helpful. The breakfast had everything that I wanted, and the restaurant next door was delicious....

Good Value for money and excellent staff who helped in all ways. As we arrived and left by taxi (organised by the staff) I did not test ease of finding the place or car parking facilities. The hotel was in the process of redecoration, but this did not cause any inconvenience

Staff friendly & helpful. Good breakfasts. Lots of taxis when I wanted one, central location. 20 minutes walk from the train station. Parties on the sidewalks outside, didn't last very long, and not the hotel's fault.

Can't say enough for the staff who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. However the facility provides it's challenges. While it's a convenient location, it's not an appealing one. A little dreary and uninviting with quite a bit of street noise. There are about 10 steps up to navigate luggage before reaching the one lift. The...

I had a great 4 days staying at the Parliament Hotel before moving to another (more expensive) hotel at the start of an Intrepid tour. Without fail, every member of staff was friendly and helpful. I had a massive king bed, comfortable room, great shower (over the bath). WiFi was far faster that the more expensive hotel, everything was handled...

Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience with this hotel. Our room was simple and ok but the bathroom was not cleaned at all. Also the towels were dirty. The stairs to reach the rooms were totally decrepit and dirty. The breakfast was good but it could have been better. Despite all that the position was ok and the stuff...

We stayed 5 days at the Parliament Hotel and were very pleased with the facilities and staff. Antonio was very helpful and took time to answer all our questions regarding the city. Our room was very good; mattress was fine, room big enough and clean. Breakfast was very good and more then sufficient. The hot part of the breakfast was...
