I stayed here as a guest of the Cape Town Fringe and was really impressed. The room was spacious, decorated to a very high standard and spotlessly clean with a huge, comfortable bed and freestanding bath. Given how central it is, it was very quiet at night and I slept like a baby every night. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff went...

Thank you for your feedback – especially for letting us know that the room was to your standard, and our staff were particularly helpful. However, we have noted that they can sometimes be ‘too helpful’. We hope to see you again.

Very enjoyable stay with friendly, helpful staff. Spacious room and view of Table Mountain ... very comfortable beds and high speed internet. Walking distance to the Botanical Gardens, St George's Cathedral, Green Market (African art) Square and huge Golden Acre shopping mall. I arrived early in the morning and seeing that my room was still occupied, I was given another...

Stayed here on a business trip and was very pleased I did. The staff is very friendly, the room was really nice and the bed very comfortable...all you need in a hotel. Also the fact that a car park was located right next to the hotel was very convenient.

This hotel might not be the most expensive or the most glamorous in Cape Town, but it has excellent (and very friendly) service throughout the hotel and a restaurant that serves interesting and very tasty food. My room was light and bright, with high speed internet and a place to sit and work with a nice view of the mountain....

Initially when approaching the hotel, the location seemed shabby. The hotel is however, quite elegant. The room lacked for nothing and was clean. Great decor and very comfortable. Everything worked well. Seems to be frequented by business travelers. Good fresh fruit at breakfast and adequate hot food available. However, dinner was extremely disappointing as was food in snack bar. Food...

Good hotel for cost. Close to Long Street for those who enjoy the nightlife. A bit far from the waterfront but still conveniently located next to table mountain. Taxis are not too expensive though to get around town. Excellent breakfast spread.

We spent 4 nights at this hotel. The staff were great. Samantha, in particular, went out of her way to make our time there enjoyable and help us to book some our evening activities. The location was quite good ... only about R40 (AUD$4) to get to the harbour and walking distance to many shops and some attractions. The room...

I agree fully with what a lot of other reviewers write: this hotel has warm and friendly staff and is extremely nice for a business stay in Cape Town. Some things I might add though (see room tips). All in all: good and friendly.

Dear Guest Many thanks for your feedback. Our "10" rooms are really only meant for short single occupancy stays as they are located next to the lift and are smaller than our other rooms. Thank you for your comment regarding our friendly staff and the wifi signal on the higher floors. I would like to report that the wifi signal...

My fiancee and I spent the last week at the Townhouse. It was the first time for me to visit Cape Town and I must say the hotel location is right at the heart of the city. Unfortunately, the service was not up to par for a 4*. We had a hot water issue on day 4 and was reported...
