The location of this hotel on the waterfront is great! Within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, ferry to Robben Island and a view of Table Mountain. We stayed on the second floor in a piazza facing room which was spacious, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was modern so apparently 2nd floor renovations are complete. I understand they will be renovating...

A friend who stayed over at the hotel invited us for dinner. The service was good. I had calamari as the main course. It was very tasty and portion was a good size. My wife had the chicken and said it was very average. The menu very limited. Restaurant comfortable with nice view of the harbour.

Thanks for the review. Our menu caters with an abundance of rustic salads, sandwiches, wraps, contemporary warm meals including meats, seafood's, desserts, smoothie and fresh fruit extraction bar and a great kids menu. Sorry you thought this was a limited offering. Best wishes Rey

Was booked to stay in this hotel for a business trip so didn't have a choice. Decent location though, as it is located at the waterfront. Service was good so no complaints. Breakfast buffet was lovely. View of Table Mountain from restaurant is great. The only downside was the strong mildew smell that greeted me when I first arrived in...

we stayed here and had two rooms on two different dates during the trip. both times a loft room and both rooms were shown serious signs of 'age' especially in the bath rooms. it is not a surprise, we guess this hotel simply did not yet have a big overhaul since opening and that is now bad needed. the location...

Thanks for the review. We have recently upgraded our ground floor reception lobby area and main restaurant. This was after an extensive upgrade to our 1st and 2nd floors. Our 3rd (loft) floor is being upgraded next year and you can look forward to the new space in late 2017. Rey

Well when it comes to service and professionalism this hotel has a lot to learn !! One of the worst breakfast experiences we have ever had! Waited nearly an hour for coffee and eggs!! Was told they were busy!! Really!! Cleaning of rooms shocking and doors don't close properly in the toilet in the room!! No one checks ?? Won't...

I admit that the location is great and breakfast is good. But our luggage was broken into and the hotel refused to do anything real about it other than waste our time with reports and visits. My wife and I travel over one hundred thousand miles a year on business. We sometimes take a weekend in between like this visit....

The really fantastic part of the hotel is its location. And that's where it ends. It's an overpriced property that charges a bomb for snob value of being on the waterfront. If u are looking for peace and tranquility avoid the place. We could not even manage an afternoon nap coz of the commotion and noise outside - awful soundproofing...

How centrally located the hotel is its greatest draw. The hotel itself is very nice, rooms spotless, but service was not as solicitous as I would expect. I often felt that I was interrupting a staff conversation rather than they being tuned in to helping. The breakfast buffet has unique offerings but the service was inattentive and I had to...

I stayed at this hotel in November 2016 in Room 301. I travel the world by myself and as a female safety and security is always a TOP priority for me. This hotel is ok... I will spare you the pictures of the cracked floor tiles, squeaky floors, etc... My main issue with this place was when the second evening...
