This is a wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. We stayed for 6 nights and we found it beautiful. Our room was lovely, the breakfast was cooked to order. All the Managers were helpful, in fact they could not have been more helpful. The hotel is positioned on Kloof Street, where you will find plenty of bars and restaurants. The only...

I lived in Cape Town 17 years ago and fell in love with the city. Needless to say, I was brimming with excitement to return for my honeymoon to share the experience with my husband. Kensington Place was our first stop, and it exceeded expectations in every way. The check-in was easy, the room and bath top quality. The views...

Stayed two nights here and couldn't have been happier. The staff were delightful, the room fantastic and the food was fresh and tasty. Some previous reviews have criticised the lunch/dinner menu but we had lunch on our balcony and we're delighted with it.

We booked a total of 4 rooms at Kensington Place for 5 nights. Two were "Superior" rooms upstairs in the main house, another was a "Superior" room with a separate entrance next to the pool (but still within the main complex), and the last was the "Deluxe" room which has a separate entrance a few yards/meters down the street. Each...

This boutique hotel graced us with some of the finest service we have had the pleasure of receiving. From the welcoming greeting by Simon upon arrival to the feeling of leaving a friend's home by Gillian, it was wonderful. We would highly recommend this beautiful gem to any couple who enjoy being spoiled.

This was our last stop in South Africa before heading home. 2 weeks travelling along the Garden Route and we were chilled and relaxed so it was a good thing that Kensington Place maintained the feel good factor right up to our departure with their eye for detail and attentive staff. It was greatly appreciated that they made reservations for...

Our four nights in this lovely guest house were perfect! The welcome from the staff was was an indication of how well run this establishment is. Every detail was attended to efficiently and they went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable. It proved to be an excellent base for exploring the sights of Cape Town without being in...

Good location essentially at the top of Kloof Street. We typically walked down and got a taxi back up the hill. However, make sure you have the right change for taxi drivers as they tend to claim that they have no change. The room was excellent in every way The staff were friendly and helpful. Simon was particularly so following...
