Walden House exceeded our expectations! Great locations, good views, spacious clean rooms, yummy breakfast and very friendly staff. Everyone was welcoming and helpful! The neighborhood is very safe and at a walking distance to all the restaurants on Kloof Street

A lovely Guesthouse in a great location. Hugely comfortable with large airy rooms very well equipped. There is a lovely quiet garden small but quite beautiful. The pool is small but clean and there are fresh towels always available. Very comfortable loungers. No restaurant (breakfast is served and a very high quality) but a number of excellent restaurants within 5 minutes...

This is a stunning property in a great location for all Cape Town has to offer. The views of Table Mountain from the honeymoon suite are stunning. Long Street and Kloof Street are a short walk away and the staff are always on hand to help you with the best way of getting to places and stopped us having to...

If memory serves me correctly, we first discovered The Walden House in 2007, on what was then our third visit to South Africa. We have been back a further five times since, with this guest house consistently being our #1 choice of accommodation when in Cape Town. The guest house is ideally located in a residential road in Tamboerskloof, a...

Lovely guest house in a terrific location close to restaurants. Rooms are lovely and bathrooms were very large. Staff were particularly helpful (storing luggage while we went on safari) and breakfast was good too.

Beautifully decorated, this boutique hotel (only seven rooms) is a wonderful place to stay in when you are in Cape Town. I would highly recommend room 5 which can be described as your dream holiday room! :-)

Great B&B, excellent service. I think that breakfast should be served slightly earlier than 08h00, which is fine for holiday-makers but not for most business guests. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating.

Spending just a few days in South Africa and in Cape Town I booked this hotel accidently. Although I am a frequent traveller Walden House is amongst the best hotels I ever stayed in. A bias might be that I booked the "honeymoon suite" by chance, which turned out to be large room with a huge bath and a shared...

Very nice hotel. The staff es very helpful. Even tough we were late for breakfast they went out of their way and served us the basics. Good location near restaurants and bars. The rooms have good sizes and beds are comfortable.
