We arrived around 9am Sunday morning after flying over 24 hours to get to South Africa and were greeted by a friendly staff and great breakfast. The lodge is very quaint as every room is different and has unique styles to them but all very modern. The bathrooms were modern as well as clean which is something I look for!...

We last stayed in Blackheath Lodge 6 years ago and then described it as an inspired choice. So on our return to Cape Town where else would we stay? And once again the whole experience was an inspired choice. We emailed Antony saying that we wanted 11 nights in Cape Town area and asking for suggestions. He came back with...

It was lovely to see you back again after being away for so long. Thank you for your kind words. We are improving Blackheath Lodge all the time and as the way people travel, we have to move with the times.

This was our third time that we stayed at the BHL. And again we have enjoyed every minute here. There really is no better option when you are looking for a hotel in Cape Town. The staff is like family. Rooms are great and the tranquility is unique. We would recommend the BHL anytime! Check out BHL’s sister One Marine...

Dear Roy and Manon Thanks for your great review and glad you enjoyed One Marine Drive Boutique Hotel in Hermanus. Hermanus is a great add-on to the Cape Collection and anyone travelling to Cape Town needs to stay some nights in this quaint seaside village filled with wine.

We received a great reception here after a very long journey. The staff made sure we were rested, fed and assisted us in planning our stay. Restaurants were recommended and booked. The room was well appointed and comfortable. Their location is great for easy access to all there is to see in Cape Town. This is a perfect place to...

We really feel for people arriving after a long-haul flight, especially those from North America and glad you were settled in quickly – that is one of our goals.

We recently spent five glorious days in this delightful, boutique B&B in Sea Point. We stayed in Room 16 - a 2-bedroom suite with kitchen, an already stocked fridge and bar and a magnificent view of the ocean. The owners and managers of this B&B have thought of everything: a mini I-Pad for your use; a pre-programmed cell phone for...

Blackheath Lodge deserves all the accolades it gets. We booked rather late so had to be moved around 3 times in the week we spent here but this enabled us to see 3 of the room types on offer and all were fine though my favourite was no 7 upstairs as it was a little larger. Everything is clean and...

Blackheath Lodge This is our third stay in as many years and we remain faithful to BHL because you are treated as family and the relaxed ambience alongside engaging service is just to our liking. On our arrival the welcome from Josh was so genial and warm we instantly relaxed after our 1.5 hour drive from the sister hotel at...

A small hotel with the charm of some of the best B&Bs. I guess I mean that it's service was personal and intimate. Pleasant location just up the hill from the coast...once you get used to the heavy duty South African security everywhere! Lovely room, cute pool, delicious breakfast and all round excellent staff.

The staff members at Blackheath lodge welcomed us with kindness, generosity, warmth and professionalism. They are a team that work together with immense positive energy and aim at making each guest's stay as comfortable, enjoyable and restful as can be. The lodge and rooms are beautifully and artistically decorated, beds super cushy and comfortable, and the breakfasts are home made...

This place is beautiful and a lovely oasis of calm in Cape Town. We stayed in a loft suite which is huge, airy, light and has wonderful views. Can't recommend Blackheath Lodge and its perfect location enough.
