My husband and I have just checked in for a week at the Blackheath Lodge and with only one night into our stay we are smitten. The staff at Blackheath are remarkable - above and beyond any other hotel we've ever stayed at. The room: impeccable. The travel-to, check-in: swift and easy. Ambiance and environment: priceless.

I stayed at the Blackheath for 3 nights in May 2012 on a solo trip. I can't say enough about the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the comfort of the room and common areas at the Lodge, and the great location. I got great suggestions from everyone for dinners out, shopping, and tours. They booked my one-day Cape Peninsula...

Overall, great experience. We stayed at the Blackheath Lodge for two nights prior to going on a safari and wine tasting excursions. The stay was part of our honeymoon, so we desired a peaceful stay. The hotel is great, nice rooms and it was a place that made you feel as if you were not at a hotel, but at...

We stayed for four nights in late April 2012 at the Blackheath, and loved every minute. The staff is enormously helpful, warm & engaging. Our kids (12 & 15) stayed in a cozy low-ceilinged room (#6) tucked behind the pool; we stayed in a spectacular room (#10) that was impeccable -- with a comfortable King-sized bed & a beautifully appointed...

Spent three nights at the lodge, while the weather did not cooperate, the lodge and Antony and staff were excellent. The room was beautifully decorated and the breakfasts were outstanding. They booked on a tour of the Cape which was also excellent. I highly recommend Blackheath.

Antony and the staff were first class, offering friendly, helpful and excellent service throught our stay (fellow hoteliers need look no further for an example of service excellence). We were a group of 9, and...
