Blackheath Lodge was the perfect place to stay in Capetown. After busy days of sightseeing, coming 'home' to the charming rooms, super-comfortable beds and outdoor spaces at this lodge was heavenly. The service was impeccable and the breakfast was amazing - the crepes are a must have!! A helpful, sharing environment with staff and other guests make Blackheath a gem...

This place is beautiful and in a great part of town (and what a town it is!) . It has a magical pool surrounded by colorful vines and jasmine scent, the rooms spotless and well decorated, the beds sublime, a great breakfast. The kitchen is open so you can come in at any time and serve yourself some wine or...

Everything from start to finish was just perfect at Blackheath! Anthony and his team are all so welcoming and helpful. The location of the lodge was ideal, although slightly further than inititally thought from Camps Bay it was easy enough to do in a taxi for an evening meal or a day at the beach. It was perfect to get...

The staff at Blackheath is simply outstanding. The cooks prepare yummy breakfasts. The managers go out of their way to make certain that you have fallen in love with Cape Town and with South Africa. They know everything there is to know about Cape Town, the wine route, the Garden Route, the Big Five attractions - and are unstintingly helpful...

We stayed here for the first time. We usually stay on the Waterfront, but it has become a tourist trap, very commercialised, with the feel of a duty free airport center. Service in the restaurants can be slow and attitudes from waiters rude. It can also be noisy at night. there have also been incidents of muggings at night. Blackheath...

The service at Blackheath Lodge cannot be faulted. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and the staff went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They did everything they could to meet our needs, assisting with trips, organising taxis and making some excellent recommendations for places to eat....

The team at Blackheath lodge know exactly how to make one feel at home. Every need is taken care of, yet the staff do not smother you. We were checked in quickly and efficiently and our room was lovely, really a home away from home. Antony was great to us and knows all there is to know about Cape Town....
