The rooms are spotless, modern and the bed was comfortable. The house is exquisitely decorated. Staff were friendly, helpful and the inclusive breakfast was brilliant - we wanted for nothing. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool as well and, again, extremely clean. The location was central for all the things we wanted to see and do in Cape Town,...

We are from Mozambique and loved our trip. We have great beaches but Cape Town exceeded our expectations. The hotel was perfect for our group, we were in close rooms to each other, rooms decent size. We can’t fault anything, for the price it was good service, good location and friendly staff.

My daughter and I just spent a week in Cape Town and a highlight for us was Mountview Spa and Guest House. Our room was very nice -- well appointed, comfortable mattress and very clean. The breakfast is very tasty -- an assortment of cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, advocado, breads and muffins, and deli meats, coffee and juice AND eggs...

Spent a week at this lovely boutique guest house. Spotlessly clean and modern facilities. Lovely breakfast, everything you could want to set you up for the day. Excellent ladies looking after us all under the watchful eye of Joe and his gorgeous dog Beaumont. Easy access into the city and waterfront. Thank you Joe. 😀

I chose Mountainview based on reviews I had read and I definetely was not disappointed! The rooms were spotless and the place had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Very centrally located. However, if there was one thing I would change is the very noisy plumbing that woke me up several times and at times it gets slightly noisy but otherwise a...

Great BAndB. Not sure about Spa part of name? Rooms were nice maybe a bit tight. But all and all great value for cost. Excellent staff and good food. Parking is tricky if u rent a car. Street parking so had to walk a bit a couple of times to parking spot. Central location.

We stayed here knowing the area, but not knowing the guest house - and what a great choice it turned out to be. Joe and all his staff were really friendly and helpful. When I mentioned we were going up the garden route out came Joe's lap top to help me find a suitable B&B (see my review of the...
