This is our second stay at LeeuwenVoet House and once again the staff were superb. Recommendations, advice and great service. Our room was beautifully decorated and spacious but felt homely. We can confirm the Best Breakfast in Cape Town is no idle boast.

The arrival at the Leeuwenvoet guesthouse was nice and easy. Because of planned power outage (load-shedding, apparantly a custom in SA) the guesthouse was lit in candle light which gave a nice touch to the place. We mentioned that we wanted to shower after quite a drive up to Cape town and they even placed a candle in the shower... More

I stayed 4 nights and arrived Sunday evening from the Waterberg. It was dark and as a lone traveller I felt safe. The night time view from room B22 was amazing, Table Mountain. The guest house was clean and well laid out and I was given a complementary upgrade without asking. My room had a corner bath in the corner... More

Many of the reviews mention this as being a hotel, it is not, it is a guest house and it is important to know this difference. We stayed for three nights here and very much enjoyed our stay. I believe that the room in the original house are larger and probalby the best furnished to it might be worth requesting... More

I recently travelled to Cape Town on business and our regular Guest House was fully booked so they gave us Leeuwenvoet's details. It was really great. The staff were really friendly and accomodating, and the rooms beautiful, clean and very comfy. The breakfasts were fantastic and they served the best filter coffee I have tasted in a very long time.... More

The owner and staff went beyond their jobs to be helpful. They were very nice and always cheerful. The breakfasts were very nice You could see Table Mountain from in front of the guest house. Whenever we needed something the staff offered to help and always with a smile on their face

This is a well-maintained guest house just off Kloof Street. Close to the centre of everything but quiet and with very good security for guests and their cars. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. Our room was large and very comfortable with good air con. The deck was a great sun trap and the plunge pool a welcome cooling-off... More

Stayed here three nights. Nice rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. Wi-Fi great (free), breakfast (included) even better! Very secure place as well. Location a plus - 50 meters down on a side street from Kloof street. Nice view of Table Mountain and just a short cab ride to the cable car. There is a clean, small pool on... More

We live in the deep south and often go into the city on Saturday for dinner and spend the night. We have stayed in a number of guest houses and like to try a new one each time. Unfortunately Leeuwenvoet was not quite up to the standard we were used to. Considering that it was in the same price range... More

I stayed for two nights with a colleague. In my room the Aircon and TV were not working. The bed was too hard as well. Also need to mention that to get to the rooms upstairs with luggage was a challenge and there was no one to help when we checked inn. Great view to Table Mountain from the pool... More
