Beautifully located right on the sea front with ability for easy access to the town using the stunning walkway immediately in front of the guest house. The suites are beautiful with nice sized living room, bedroom and bathroom facilities. Every night the service minded staff provide fold down service with added port wine offered in your room. The manager Hester...

Auberge Provence was the first night stay on our 12 day trip in SA and it really set the tone. The accommodation is spotless and spacious, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were sincere and helpful. I woke up early the next morning as I was just to excited to open my patio doors and marvel at the view.....

We highly recommend Auberge Provence. Excellent position, stunning sea view. We watched dolphins every day from our room! And whale season will be outstanding. Hester and Cynthia made our visit unforgettable

Lovely people and a beautiful home. A little far from the square where the restaurants are but the setting is second to none. You may have to use your car but it's worth it. Some lovely touches like an evening drink left in the room every night.

Very nice accommodation with super high teas provided each afternoon. Very helpful owner and, although the house is situated up on the cliffs, it is a lovely few minutes walk into town or, in the other direction , to the old harbour. A good choice if you're visiting Hermanus.

Hermanus was the mid-point stop on our honeymoon. We chose Hermanus to enjoy the small town atmosphere and to do shark cage diving nearby in Gansbaai. We picked Auberge Provence based on TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. The setting is ideal. Right on the cliffs with direct access to the cliffside trails. Definitely book an ocean facing room on...

Magnificent setting / facility / room and truly 5 star hospitality from genuine South African human gems, Hester, Agnes and Veronica. Having numerous guest houses in the Western Cape and Boland, as well as in the rest of South Africa and abroad, we can state without doubt or fear of contridiction that the hospitality easily surpasses anything we have ever...

Second visit and still the best. It was lovely to meet Rie again before she headed off for the weekend. A lovely person. Hester who had only been there for a couple of weeks was left in charge, and turned out to be a fabulous host. The guest house is right on the cliff path, so a few minutes walk...
