I love this place ! The dedication and love for these beautiful animals has me in awe every time I visit - and I visit often, at least 1x per year. I have been just a day visitor but have stayed over on 2 occasions for 1 night in the lodge and on 1 occasion I stayed 2 nights at...

We stayed here with our toddler for 2 nights. The rooms, above the elephant boma, provided us with the most unbelievable experiences and memories. We were up at all times of the night to watch them and make the most of our stay. Our room was clean and well presented. The staff and elephant handlers clearly adore the animals and...

This is the second time I have visit this park, which I feel is the wrong desciption as it is more a wonderful for 10 or 11 beautiful elephant, who are treated with all the love and respect one could every hope for as orphan elephant. This is truly a fantastic place to visit with family and friends and high...

Loved it!!! We went as a group of 10. 6 adults and 4 children aged 7, 9, 12, and 14 years. Felt save with the elephants. An excellent experience for all of us. Something that we will never forget. Would recommend to anyone.

We spent one night at this elephant park and lodge. The rooms attach to the boma where the elephants sleep at night. There is an open living room/lounge area that overlooks the boma where you can sit all night and watch the elephants eating and sleeping. The room we chose was one of the smaller ones and it worked just...

Spent a very happy birthday here. Right from the start everyone was very friendly and helpful. Attended a wedding at the Elephant Lodge, it was the most fun filled, relaxed and entertaining wedding ever. The staff the special guests (elephants) and the setting made for amazing memories. Went for a walk in the beautiful grounds and had zebras following us,...

Staying at the Knysna Elephant Park lodge was not our initial plan. We wanted to walk with elephants. The lodge however offered a night's accommodation, breakfast AND a morning experience with the elephants. That night was unforgettable. The communal lounge overlooks the elephants' sleeping quarters. There you will find nice cozy couches, warm blankets and tea and coffee facilities. We...

We visited here with my 7 year old step-son and had an unforgettable time. Coming from the UK were are used to seeing animals in small enclosures in zoos / wildlife parks and having no hands on time with them. This elephant park is quite the opposite, with time to feed and walk with them along with a guide. We...

The best place to stay at for those who are looking for the elephant interaction. The lodge is a little far from everything and if we don´t ask for dinner till 5 p.m., we have to go out and look for something to eat. Besides this, the place is amazing and we can stay watching elephants during all night from...
