Really had a fabulous time at this woodcutter styled house on the edge of the Knysna Forest. Beautiful well maintained gardens, very clean little house with thoughtful touches to boot eg books and DVD's if it rains; a pack of playing cards; a light for power failures; a divine smelling house thanks to the air freshner in the wall and...

I participated in the Karoo 2 Coast mountain biking event from Uniondale to Knysna during the long weekend in September, and I joined my wife and kids the Sunday after race at this wonderful lodge. It was a fantastic venue to unwind and relax after the race, away from the buzz of the town. Although small, the cottage had all...

Everything you need to replenish and refresh the soul, definitely a haven to come back to. Keep everything exactly the same :-) The stay here was a gift and a blessing from heaven above, Ronel has put so much thought and dedication into the running of her establishment, personally receiving and orientating her guests, catering to all needs as far...

We stil can't stop talking about the out of this world experience we had at Forest Edge. The cottages are very clean, garden areas are excellent, well maintained. Everything is on point. We can't think of anything to complain about. Well done to Ronel and Team. We love the place and planning to come back.

Ronel gave us two nights at her Forest Edge lodge. A far cry from her days of corporate stress! My husband Brian and I were able to relax and enjoy a short walk into the wonderful forest and be energized by the wonderful trees there! Ronel has thought of everything a guest might need and we lacked for nothing! Although...

My husband surprised me with our honeymoon getaway to Forest Edge and managed to tick all the boxes for the perfect honeymoon. Secluded, peaceful and relaxing. On arrival we were greeted with a wonderfully set out cottage complete with champagne, chocolates, gift baskets and all! The place was beautiful and Ronel the owner a real sweetie pie. We had a...

On arriving at Forest Edge we were quite tired and slightly moody after a long drive and the odd stop and go. As the sliding gate opened we were greeted with what seemed to be paradise. We were greeted to the sound what must have been 100's of little frogs at the little pond and we immediately started to relax....

We had wanted to spend our 23rd wedding anniversary in a quiet place near the forest around Knysna. Forest Edge was perfect, right next to the forest, offering tranquility including all necessary amenities. We could enjoy the Drupkelders Walk starting right outside the Forest Edge gate, go into Knysna to see the Heads or even drive to Monkeyland and Birds...

My husband brought me to Forest Edge for our honeymoon, and it was the perfect tranquil place to relax and explore the magical area of Knysna. Only a second-time visitor to South Africa, I loved learning about this particularly extraordinary part of the country. Forest's Edge is poised in an ideal location to enjoy the mysteries of the forest, and...
