This is such a beautiful place.its relaxing being there with a view overlooking the river,cows horses.we have been there twice in 1 year's time.you have privacy there and the owner sees to your every need.Will def. go there again.even the friends we took told people they know about oxbow.its heaven on earth.very clean and tidy.

We stayed in Fig Tree Cottage which is a lovely house over looking the river. The house is large with 3 double en-suite bedrooms (one of which is a twin room), a very large kitchen, fully equipped and a large lounge and stoop. Everything we could have needed was there, braai, boats for the river and the animals on the...

Oxbow is a working Brangus Stud farm. Two self-catering cottages on the river bank overlook the almost two kilometers of river boundary and cattle pastures.You can sit on your own private patio, or soak up the sun and swim in our crystal clear river while listening to the cry of the fisheagle go by. “All rooms are lovely, the twin room has it's own door and an inter leading door to one of the main bedrooms. It still has it's own bathroom though. It is the smaller of the 3 bedrooms. The far end bedroom has a shower, bathroom and toilet.”
