In early Jan 2012 we stayed two nights at the Knysna Country House with our two young boy's. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted which made us feel immediately welcomed. The house had a nice relaxing feeling and a beautiful view of the valley. The family suite had two bedrooms which was perfect for our family. The boys also enjoyed...

We stayed in Knysna Country House for 4 nights in December 2011. We stayed in the cottage which was very spacious, comfortable with its own private balcony. Ypie, Erik and the staff were all exceptionally friendly, approachable, talkative and provided a great family atmosphere. Kynsna provided an excellent all round service and did not even let a power cut interrupt...

This was a very nice place to stay, just 5-10 minutes drive from the Knysna waterfront. We stayed for 3 nights in good size room with balcony in the main house section. The grounds were very nice, with pool and lots of wild birds. The house was very easy to find as it was well sign posted one you were on...

Nice welcome from Ypie. Unfortunately the room we wanted was unavailable and so we had to stay in the standard room which was very average, small and hot. Rooms 1-4 were shaped in a U and there was one table and bench in the middle of it all which is only nice if you the people sitting at the table....

We stayed at the Knysna Country House for two nights during our trip down the Garden Route in December 2011. Yoie and Erik were excellent hosts, not imposing, but there if you needed help and advice. The balcony room which we occupied was spacious and clean with views over the pool. The bathroom was of a good size and included...

While we were there Erik & Ypie celebrated there one year anniversary of opening Kynsna Country House. Our room was a large room with a big private balcony, and was comfortable. It's in a quiet residential area, about 10 minutes drive from Kynsna centre. Breakfast was good enough, and the pool inviting although it wsan't really warm enough to dip...

Do not be fooled by the ads this is a average guest house we stayed in 3 star guest houses that is more luxurious than this luxury 4 star guest house.

My partner and I recently stayed at this delightful, friendly B&B for four nights, along with a friend from the UK. Ypie and Erik were not only charming hosts but sources of detailed "do's and don't's" for us, first time visitors to Knysna. Indeed, we followed Erik's advice for places to visit around Addo and ended up visiting a cheetah breeding...

When we stayed in Knysna the weather was very bad. We had a nice cottage in the garden. Compared to the other places we stayed in SA this was the most expensive one but not the best. Overal I can't say it's not worth the price. The hosts are friendly and the breakfast was ok. The B&B is to far...

My wife and I stayed for three nights and really could not fault it. Indeed, of the nine different rooms we stayed in during our four weeks in South Africa, the large and beautifully furnished room in this guest house with its large comfortable bed, its balcony and its lovely bathroom was the best of the lot. Hosts Erik and...
