Me and my girlfriend spent 4 great days at Point Lodge. From the start Ryk and the small staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Unlike most guests we didnt have a car, so it was a little more challenging to do the activities we wanted to do in the surrounding area. But thanks to Ryk and the taxidriver/tourguide Johnny everything...

If you are not too fussy, the Point Lodge in Knysna will offer you a memorable stay: They are situated right on the Knysna Lagoon with one of the most stunning views available. The staff is very friendly, breakfast is ample. The rooms are a little old but if you are not too fussy they will do!

The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the breakfast room and pool area were clean and very well looked after. They were willing to cater for vegetarians with the breakfast options too! However, the room we stayed in looked very different to the photo of the same room on their website. Other than that - no complaints!

We were only for one night, but I would return for a relaxing week! The place is quiet and the view is really peaceful. The host is amazing! He took care of every detail to make our stay unforgettable. It's a cozy point to feel like home, no luxury required!

We booked into the Point Lodge with our group (African Hopper Tours) and were greeted by the friendly owner Ryk. The rooms are all very very good with comfortable beds and all other amenities. There is even an honesty bar in the pub area. The views of the lagoon are stunning and breakfast served was great. Thank you Ryk and...

We selected the point Lodge because it was available and inexpensive on what is a very busy weekend for knysna. I wasn't expecting much. I was totally blown away. The host, Ray, could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The room, knysna room, was large, clean and airy. The location is just off the main highway but you...

Forget 5 star luxury the owner and staff make you feel so welcome, very warm and sincere. With such an amazing knowledge of the local scene Ryk will guide you to the best places to see, eat and play Golf. No need for a Travel agent. The breakfasts are great. Well worth a couple of nights stay.

Ryk is the owner who has been in the business some 20 years. This is our 3 time of staying. It is probably THE guesthouse that feels like it is your own home but where you have someone who makes great breakfasts, will suddenly appear, when needed, for providing ice at the honesty bar; to advise on places to visit;...
