Amanzi Island Lodge is conveniently located with the most breath-taking views of the lagoon, a water enthusiast dream. This paradise in the heart of Knysna is unmistakably the most beautiful lodge I have had the pleasure of visiting; surrounded by everything you could possibly need to enjoy a luxurious holiday. The friendly staff is always at hand and attentive to...

Absolutely impressed with costumer service. So polite, gentle, friendly and helpful. The property itself is an oasis of calm, perfect place for those who want to escape from the busy and noisy cities. Room very specious with great lagoon view, kept clean with little touches such as chocolate, tea selection and biscuits. The lodge itself has also bikes and kayaks...

We were fortunate to spent two days of our stay in the spacious honeymoon suite with private pool. Now we know what it feels like to be part of aristocracy! Service was above the top end of the scale and the staff went out of their way to make this the most enjoyable time of our holiday. If possible, one...

Not Bad for a break near home ,but it must not rain otherwise there is nothing to do as the roads are pot clay and no game drives or horse rides go out ,Snooker room or games room would be great addition to the facilities when it does rain ,that gives you an alternative

Firstly let me say this is a lovely Guest House with great views from the breakfast/lounge balcony. The staff are friendly and attentive and the breakfast is great. We were allocated the Pansy room which had no view really other than a side ways view of the Lagoon from the rather tired balcony with poor quality garden furniture on it....

Amanzi Island Lodge, what an awesome place!  First stop on our honeymoon my husband surprised me with 4 nights staying at Amanzi in their Seahorse Honeymoon Suite.  Beautiful room with an incredible view of the sea and the Knysna heads. Two bathrooms with a romantic Victorian bath and a shower for two!  Personal touches like slippers, gowns and chocolates for...

Very Friendly and helpful staff, activities were great and the game drives offered a great insight on nature and wildlife. The guide knew so much about the animals and plant life in the reserve and was able to fully answer our quesrions. I look forward to visiting again.

Beautiful hotel. Stunning vistas. Lovely staff. Great breakfast. We literally cannot wait to return to this hotel in Knysna. Such a perfect spot for doing as much or as little as you fancy. Lovely walks from the hotel and kayaks/bikes available for use as well. When we checked out and got the bill, I was surprised how much we were...
