Was wonderfull. Beautiful to see the animals when you eat the most delicious breakfast or excellent dinner, served with such a kindness. Great. Rooms were very good. Good to swim in the swimming pool . We were very happy to have been here.

Wonderful atmosphere made possible by a great family. The animals around the site at meal time are something to behold. Not a safari but seeing a mix of wonderful animals in a setting of safety is so satisfying The food is top class. For something unique this place is hard to beat.

The most welcoming and warm people of the Karoo. With an honesty book and home made food (all of it). The "Hall" is a lovely place to meet and mingle other visitors to the farm in the Karoo. The dogs are amazing. Such sweet little things and then of course, all the other animals which come down to the "Hall"...

This game lodge comprises of individual chalets set in a beautiful location amongst the mountains with breathtaking views. There is also a large dining area and stoep where you can relax and watch the African television. There is a large braai inside and outside which adds to the atmosphere of the whole place. The African Television includes stunning views and...

This place is in the middle of nowhere and it is very relaxing and beautiful. The family that runs it is very welcoming and so are the zebras and giraffes who walk around. This is a place to get away from it all--there's not much to do apart from braai, hike and sleep but it's a perfect place to chill...

What a fabulous find! Nestled among the mountains with loads of other attractions nearby this is a "must visit" stunning location Expect a wonderful welcome from hosts Jenni and Andre and Chris and Belinda. The views from the Stoep are breath taking and you have the additional attraction of Sprinbok grazing below. Throughout the evening, zebra, giraffe and wilderbeast appeared....

Spent 3 nights in a chalet that had everything you needed to make the stay comfortable and not having to carry towels etc in your luggage. We were greeted as you would a member of family or an old friend and made to feel so welcome. The minute we arrived we came face to face with the wild animals on...

Amazing place, surrounded by breathtaking mountains, exotic animals (there's even some zebras and a giraffe walking around the lodge) and great people who own this place. Don't miss a chat with Belinda or a perfect braai with her husband Chris.

Small but comfortable units with a beautiful view and excellent hosts. The bathrooms need to be upgraded, the basin is very small with no cupboard and the door is a lose sliding door that offers limited privacy.

Hi Alwyn Many thanks for your review we greatly appreciate it. You are right the bathrooms are small and in desperate need of a revamp. We had scheduled it winter just gone but our new restaurant lapa area got delayed and we had to make a call on what needed to be done first. But please do come back next...

After a bumpy gravel approach climbing up the hilly approach we were relieved to find such a lovely warm welcome from Belinda. The views from the room were simply stunning, Supper at the main block was a real treat with the zebra family, Elland, Kuddu and a shy giraffe wandering around! Our Venison was delicious and very generous in portions!...

Wow thank you for such an amazing review. A true experience here is definitely the ability to meet and chat to all sorts of people around the braai and at dinner. It is amazing that even while I write this response the Giraffe is no more than 150m from the dining area. Please do come back again.
